Self-care is keeping up with the small daily tasks of living
I have to be honest, I’ve not gone out of my way to practice any specific acts of self-care over the last two days. I am feeling pretty good at the moment, and that’s always when l forget to make time for something for myself.
However, I’m still practising being gentle with myself around my fatigue issues. I’m not getting frustrated if my tiredness means I wake late or I struggle to start my day. That’s good general self-care, even if it is just ordinary.
Over the the last 2 days, I have been mostly catching up with housework, doing my laundry, having a tidy up and catching up on paperwork. Whilst not the most exciting, it is still self care. Getting on top of neglected chores makes me feel so much lighter and makes the place look nice too!
