I am a highly engaging and candid speaker. Speaking directly to people is what I excel at. I have many years of experience in communicating, educating, and inspiring people, via the content on my YouTube channel.

Over recent years, I have expanded sharing my story to include public talks, interviews, and presentations.

Speaking Topics

I speak from personal experience on the following topics:

  • Life as a transgender person and the experience of gender transition
  • LGBT issues of diversity and inclusion
  • Experiencing mental ill-health – living with depression, anxiety and personality disorder
  • Overcoming addiction and being an alcoholic in recovery

Previous Events

I am available as a speaker for organizations, schools, youth centers, and events. These can be either in situ or presented online via webinar. Some of my previous speaking engagements include:

  • Speaking on LGBTQ+ topics in various schools and youth centers
  • Keynote and panel speaker for LGBTQ+ awareness events such as Pride Month and LGBT History Month. Recent speaker for Pink News
  • Conference speaker for events such as transgender inclusion in addiction recovery spaces for The LifeLine project
  • Radio and Podcast interviews to raise awareness of mental health issues/LGBTQ topics
  • Webinar sessions on diversity and inclusion
  • In 2019, I was chosen out of hundereds of applicants, to speak at the Open University’s first TEDx Event –  ‘Imagine What’s Next’. 

Sharing from my own experience, I spoke about the role of flexibility in mental health and recovery, and how it can be put into practice in the workplace.
