I am thrilled to be able to offer consulting services to writers and creatives. Perhaps you are looking for advice on how to write authentic transgender characters. Perhaps you are working on a memoir. Alternatively, you may want advice on aspects of blogging and video creation. I am pleased to be able to offer my services on any of the above via the following methods.
Email Consulting
My fee for email consulting is £50 per session paid prior to each consult session. An email consult session consists of one email exchange and a brief clarification follow up. An example for writers consists of the following:
- You send an email with a list of questions related to your characters/manuscript. I will then take an hour of my time to reply in detail to each of your questions, making suggestions, and providing links to more information where appropriate. You can then send a short reply to that email, asking for any clarification
Or
- You send a section of your manuscript of a maximum of 2,500 words. I will then take an hour to read through in detail giving feedback and suggestions in order to ensure the information is correct and that the characters are authentic appearing in their trans experiences.
You might want a mix of both of these sessions, perhaps you will want one session of consulting asking questions via email, and then a later session having me read a section of your manuscript.
Face to Face Consulting
Alternatively, I offer face to face consulting. Sessions take place over Zoom. My fees for online consulting are £40 for a 30-minute session paid prior to each consulting session. Packages are available at a discount.

I am happy to work with you in whichever way suits you best. You might want a one-off or an ongoing relationship. Or, you might want a mix of the two consulting methods. For example, I have worked with writers over email to answer questions and then had a follow-up face to face meeting after reading a portion of their manuscript, to give my feedback and suggestions.
